Vladislav Telyatnikov Biography
Parents brought me to the 4th wrestling section at 4 years old. But to be honest, I almost immediately realized that the struggle is not mine, I always liked to fight. Did parents also playing sports? Yes, my father is a master of sports in boxing. And mom is my main talisman, motivator, inspirer and psychologist. It is she who always worries about me and supports me. Mom's words: “I believe in you!
Do you remember the moment when you decided to make serious results in your sports career? I always liked to train, but at about 14 years old I made a decision and told myself that enough to just deal with it, you need to set a goal and go forward and up the sports career. I began to train hard. He took individual classes to tighten his equipment and skills. Have you had thoughts to leave sports?
To completely leave thoughts. Of course I wanted to walk, hang out, it happened that I was walking training. Here I want to say many thanks to my coach Volkova Olga Yuryevna. She called me and spoke important and necessary words. And I obeyed her and returned to training. What qualities have you acquired thanks to Taekwondo and how do they help you in life? I and sport are an integral part of me.
I do not imagine myself without sports and training. The most important thing I learned in sports is discipline, character and ability to achieve goals. It helps me in life and generally every day. She is discipline in everything. In general, it seems to me it is difficult to achieve goals if there is no discipline. Character is when you fall hurt, but you get up and fight to the end.
In my life I have the same principle.
I go forward to my goals. Tell me, was there any special preparation for the World Cup? Yes, it was a period of very intense training. Two or three workouts per day. In the morning, running and gym, in the evening in sparring. Saturday is a pool and a bathhouse. The regime of the day and a balanced diet - protein, fiber, vitamins. Only in this mode can you reach the competition prepared.
What do you think helped you become a champion? Training, training and training again. I trained a lot and sparring with our best athletes. And when such a regime of preparation, you go to the international platform where rivals from around the world, each has its own nationality, mentality, in different countries its own characteristics in preparation, it is difficult to predict their tactics.
And here the gained experience in training is turned on. You are not waiting for luck. I just do what I can. And as they say, the result was not forced to wait for himself. Well, write down: hard workouts. A lot of training. And here is not only the quantity, but the quality is also important. If you understand that you lose to your rivals, then you just need to train more and listen to the coach.
Character and discipline. The main thing is not that not to fall, but to get up and go to your goal. He who does not receive, he does not win. Listen to the coach and do. What are your plans for the future? I continue to train and speak at competitions. Now preparations are underway for the Russian Championship. And also I myself began to train children. There are already athletes who occupy places in Moscow.
This is the beginning of my coaching career. If you look a little further, I want to open my school for both children and professional athletes. What do you advise athletes who are just starting their way in sports? I will advise you to go to my goal not to stop in the difficult period or, when something does not work. Listen to the coach, train hard and go forward. Emin, thanks for the interesting conversation and wish you the realization of your goals.
