This theater is new in the city and literally folk. He was created by the famous theater figure Victor Zakharovich Nilov. In addition to love for art, his heart lives with a love of history and literary work. Therefore, he creates unique productions of Tomsk stories. Nilov is known as the author of the play “Alma Mater”, written by the Letti of Tomsk in the production of the House of Scientists, received the Tomsk Komsomol award.
He twice became the public director of the legendary People's Theater of the House of Scientists. The Pushkin library has repeatedly served the site for stage incarnations of its performances.
