Four years flew by unnoticed. In the year, Sergei graduated from the music school and applied for admission to the most prestigious musical educational institution - the Moscow State Conservatory. Only 14 applicants were accepted. After three rounds of listening, Sergey entered the four of the best and was enrolled in the conservatory. Professors and teachers were unanimous in the fact that world recognition was waiting. In the conservatory, Sergey attended the school of acting. In the fifth year of study, he was sent to San Petersburg as an intern in the Kirov opera. There he learned that the great Italian tenor Carlo Bergonzi gives a master class at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. It was then that his fate noted.
The great maestro was fascinated by Sergey’s singing: “The voice is beautiful, the voice is large, you will sing around the world” and invited him to continue his studies at his Verdi Academy. Sergey was the only Russian in the Academy and therefore his Italian language is significantly stronger, since it was only necessary to speak with the master and all others in Italian.
