Alina Akhoff Biography

By education, you are a director of documentary cinema. It is much less popular than game. Why did you go there? I did not have any special desires to go there. But documentary is a reflection of life, it is always more interesting to observe life than fantasy. However, shooting of any movie is always very large finances, and their receipt entails a series of humiliations to the powerful ones, so now I do not make a movie.

But now a year of cinema, officials promised support to all filmmakers? What in this case can we talk about, except that no one cares about Ossetian cinema? This is not to say that films are not made in Ossetia. But for the most part, they, unfortunately, are uncompetitive. The fate of the majority is a bunch of shows at small regional festivals, no more.

They do not go out. In order to release films of the European level, you need to invest a lot of money, which, unfortunately, is not in the republic. The way out would be in co -financing of projects, but this is a very complex and long way along which not everyone will go. And besides, to attract such financing, you need a base, which is no longer there. So, unfortunately, now we have nothing to boast of.

We professed one of the best studios in the country. We closed our eyes and pretended that we are not interested. You can talk for a long time about the reasons for this, but in fact the studio was killed purposefully, like many other film studios in the country. I am already enough for me to look at things without pink glasses. Therefore, of course, I do not make a movie. And in the near future, probably, I will not shoot.

Many representatives of Ossetian youth believe that trying to creatively realize themselves in Ossetia is a meaningless thing, that to achieve success you need to go to Moscow ... This is a wrong opinion. If you think that doing something is pointless, then it does not matter where you think so. Now the team is a profit, it is either brought up or invited. The question is precisely in your desire, on which everything depends.

And if you do not want anything, you can find a million reasons to choose which one you are doing nothing now. If you want, you will find an opportunity, if you do not want, you will find the reason. Everything is very simple. Of course, we can say that Moscow is more likely and opportunities. On the one hand, this is so, but on the other, it is stupid to think that Moscow is a clondike in which you will be accepted with outstretched arms.

No! If you could not become someone here, then there you are all the more. You need to understand that in Moscow you will take the position of the lowest clerk and you will bite to grow if you have talent and brains. But if you didn’t even use them in Vladikavkaz, it’s stupid to think that there they will fall on you from the sky. In any business, everything is achieved later.

If you work hard, then it does not matter where you are doing this, since you still achieve something. And if you are sitting at home on the couch, then you will sit at home on the couch everywhere, including in Moscow. Now in the era of the Internet it does not matter where you are sitting, at least in Taiwan. This does not bother anyone. Although salaries in Vladik and Moscow are completely different.

Well, work from here for a Moscow company, why go somewhere? .. If you moved to Moscow, you get prohibitive salaries by local standards, but you also spend more! Your monthly consumption will also grow by the standards of Moscow, and not in Vladikavkaz or Uryupinsky. To begin with, at least 30 thousand per apartment, then the same amount for food, if this is a family, then more ...

about ten thousand for transport ... Count, here it is and your whole salary. She will just go to live. It’s much easier to live here and receive a Moscow salary! But this requires a certain number of brains, talent and ability to communicate. Probably, every journalist asked you the question: why did you, a Muscovite, moved to Vladikavkaz? I just came here to practice and after some time I stayed.

There is no super-duper story. Life just turned. There are directions that are more popular, there are areas that are less popular. A huge number of residents of Moscow annually moves to Berlin. And if a person moves from Berlin to Moscow, then this is also perceived as something strange. But the world is now global! If you want to move, you are moving. There is nothing strange that Muscovites are leaving their glowed Moscow and are moving to live in the suburbs.

This is fine! It's just that someone is more comfortable there, but I'm more comfortable here. People always perceive the world of the town. Here, they say, there is some kind of area, and the wolves go beyond its borders. Well, no! The world is open, wherever you want, go there. In Ossetia, one interesting phrase sounds that I come across all the time: “Where did you go?

That is, Ossetia is not Russia in the framework of the local mentality. This and other language forms are very curious, they give many keys to understand psychological realities. As a non -named, I perceive Ossetia as the same part of Russia as, say, the Novgorod region, which was also a separate principality before. The only question is in the perception of space: at the level of a separate principality or at the level of the global world.

Probably, this is due to the fact that Ossetia is still trying to isolate from Russia in the sense that it morely retains its traditions and culture. Among the seven billion people, our thousands are a grain of sand. This is not even a million. And it is natural that at some point the preservation of identity is manifested: the reckoning of themselves to a certain great people, in this case, to the great Alans and the Great Sarmatians.

All this serves for complacency-now, once we were with them. It’s good to know the story, but only when you can lean on it and go, looking ahead. But if you look back all the time, you can stumble and fall. For me, this trend in the protrusion of the great past is a completely incomprehensible thing. Maybe because I am not Ossetian, and it is not clear to me. I believe that the search for past greatness is a slightly false trend that does not lead to anything good, since it is self -deception.

A self -deception always sooner or later breaks about reality: if we are so great, then what did we create? And it turns out that in general nothing special. There is a problem with which it will be necessary to live on. I can shout that the Russian people are great, hiding behind the names of Pushkin, Dostoevsky, to say that we have great literature and culture, but why, if now there is a deep crisis in our country?

These are the contemporaries of Pushkin and Dostoevsky should boast, and now we have nothing to brag about. And take some Switzerland: there is not a single great writer and there is not a single great film director, but at the same time the Swiss live best! What you are now turning into the future, and what was in the past is no longer going anywhere. You can say as much as you like that King Arthur was Alan, but how does this affect the fact that you are spitting on the street now?

When you just arrived in Ossetia, did you have to adapt to the local mentality? I respect - it means I know her. I know who lived here, what he did, what he believed in. Any respect begins with knowledge. If you live in society, you must know its foundations and laws, must know that it is possible and impossible for a woman, that it is possible and impossible for a man ...

This is a normal condition for existence in any society. I quickly adapt to any environment. Although there are, of course, some things that I can’t tolerate, for example, when in Russian they say wrong. When I hear someone says “calls”, then everything is turning over in me. This is not to say "I fell in love with her" or "I asked for her." It always annoys me, and I retrain everyone around.

I am especially horrified when I hear such phrases from teachers. It shocks me.
