Elizarov Alexey Biography

In the city of Aleksey Andreevich he left for Rostov-on-Don, where he graduated from a naval school. Then he worked as a sailor on ships in the Azov Shipping Company.

In the year, from the first days of the war, the great-grandfather volunteer left a peaceful ship in the Navy. In a short time, he acquired the specialty of a military motorist, mastered an anti -aircraft gun and with hatred hit fascist aircraft from the minesweeper. Great -grandfather participated in the transportation of troops to Odessa and Sevastopol. In December, in February, until April, after the cure, he was appointed foreman of the Motobot, on which he delivered ammunition and food to the paratroopers.

During the landing operation to liberate Novorossiysk in September, Alexei Andreevich was particularly distinguished in November in April of the same year, Alexei came home on vacation. The old -timers of the city of Ivdel remember the meeting with their first hero. Relatives said that the doors of his house did not close. A meeting with a mother, with a beloved teacher Uvarov, I. Ural land gave a charge to the hero for another year of the war.

He will meet the end of the war outside his homeland. But it is remarkable that wherever Alexey was during the war and after it, he remained a loving and caring son, an older brother-mentor. His letters, sometimes even short, touch the soul: in them he asks his mother to take care of himself, “... to wait a little longer, while fascist evil spirits are driven from the Russian land”, he was always interested in the life of the Ivdel residents, and conveyed greetings to all his relatives and acquaintances.

Alexei was written about the exploits of my great -grandfather in many central newspapers. He delighted with his determination, audacity and courage of fellow soldiers and commanders. After demobilization in the city Alexey Andreevich worked as a senior assistant to the captain in the Danube Shipping Company, the head of the pier of the Khost of the Sochi Sea Port. Having passed all the horrors of the war, my great -grandfather tragically died on July 4, he was only 28 years old.

He was buried in the old city cemetery in the city of Alexei Elizarov, his mother, daughter, nephews remained. The name of the Hero of the Soviet Union A.
