The Brothers Strugatsky literary work in the middle of the GO, during the work by the agent "criminal", Mikhail began to visit the literary studio. He did not try to tell everyone that he was scribbling in writers, he simply sat quietly in the corner, did not take part in any disputes and discussions, even hesitate to show his works. He was jokingly called the "Miracles-Milionary". Once he still decided, and read one of his stories, the audience burst into incredible laughter.
The head of the studio was Korney Chukovsky, he asked Michael to bring other works, and after that he issued his verdict - the young man had undoubted abilities for literature. Mikhail Zoshchenko in the creative process in this studio, Zoshchenko’s acquaintance with other writers took place. In M he joined a literary society under the name "Srapion brothers." A year later, members of the company published the debut almanac, where one of Michael's stories entered.
After his release, readers became interested in the work of a young writer. Maxim Gorky turned out to be one of the interested ones, after which he stood closely at Zoshchenko’s creative biography, and even began to patronize him. Then the stories of a talented writer appeared in the magazines “Muhomor”, “Hippo”, “Examiner”, “Laughter”, “Buzoter”, “Eccentric”.
Any of the works of the author, whether it be a story, a story or feuilleton, was read in one breath. Among the most popular works by Zoshchenko can be called the “Black Prince”, “Aristocrat”, “Broy”, “Retribution”, “Bra can according to the calculation” and many others. Zoshchenko became more and more popular, they began to quote, some phrases instantly went into the people. The heyday of the writer's career of the author came in the years of the last century.
Mikhail constantly met with readers, traveled around the country, the circulation of his works totaled hundreds of thousands of copies. Soon he released as many as six volumes of his works. Mikhail loved the children's audience very much, so he soon had works for children. His stories - “Christmas tree”, “grandmother's gift”, “smart animals”, came out on the pages of children's publications “Hedgehog” and “Chizh”.
Then he gathered his works in collections and released them under the name “The most important” and “Lelya and Minka”. In M, Zoshchenko writes another children's book - "Stories about Lenin." Verochka Korbits-Kerbitskaya, writer met his future wife, met his future wife during the years of student. She was very pretty - with a thin elegant figure resembling a porcelain figurine.
The pretty face framed by chestnut curls, air outfits and a traditional hat - it was impossible not to fall in love with it. She asked Mikhail to fill her album, and he wrote that the majority men do not believe in love, but always tell women about love in order to gain access to their body. To tell the truth in the spirit of Zoshchenko, he did not know how to shout his soul.
Mikhail Zoshchenko and his wife Vera then their acquaintance turned out to be fleeting, but in M they met again to go nearby for forty years. They either cursed, then put up, and this always continued. Their marriage was random. The writer’s mother died in M, and then the girl invited Mikhail to move to her. First, he led her to the registry office, then gathered his meager belongings, consisting of a storyteller, a small desk, a carpet and two chairs and moved to his wife.
After the husband began to earn writing, Vera bought new furniture, paintings. Diluted the interior with porcelain shepherds and a beautiful finish palm. Michael was not only not happy with such changes, on the contrary, this all of him brought into despondency. Despite the fact that they recently had a son Valery, he left her and settled in the House of Arts.
This is not to say that the writer completely abandoned his family, he periodically visited them. However, these visits were caused by the desire to see his relatives, Mikhail was in full confidence that he could have dinner with his official wife, she should wash him and take on the correspondence troubles. Now the writer called his Verochka only as the “old woman” to dispel the rolled spleen, he went into endless love adventures.
They took the main place in his personal life. Vera understood that he did this not because of a rampant nature, but due to an incurable disease. He started novels with married women, they were fleeting and differed in cynicism. Mikhail came home to his mistresses, made acquaintances with their spouses. However, this did not become a salvation from the rolling anguish.
Analyzing his novels, Zoshchenko understood that with every new woman his life was increasingly losing his meaning. It was a dead end in which the writer drove himself. Depression, according to his closest friend, Korney Chukovsky, Zoshchenko had every reason to consider himself a lucky one. Indeed, he was young, beautiful, popular, possessed a writer's talent and earned well. However, Mikhail himself did not consider himself such, he was captured by terrible depression, he could not force himself not only to work, but also to communicate with the people around him.
Mikhail could sit at home for two weeks, grow in unshaven bristles and be silent. He tried to cope with the problem for a long time, but in M he still went to an appointment with a psychiatrist. The writer told the doctor that the longing interferes with him normally, irritability does not allow him to fall asleep, he complained that he was nervous for any reason, that he was beeing tram calls and even water dripping from the tap.
The doctor carefully listened to his complaints, and advised more to read humorous stories, especially those written by Mikhail Zoshchenko. The patient looked at the doctor with undisguised longing, and said that he was the very author whose works the doctor recommended for reading. Then Mikhail decided to cope with depression on his own. He began to read the works of Freud and Pavlov on psychology, trying to find a way out of the situation.
He analyzed the events of his life, trying to get to the bottom of the causes that drove him into depression. He remembered all the cases that in his opinion so influenced the current state. Immediately before him, a picture arose, as his mother leaves him from his chest. At that time, Misha was already two years old, and he perfectly remembered the taste of bitter Hina, which was coated with her breasts.
When Misha was three, he cut off, and this cut soon filed. He was led to a doctor who did not even bother to make anesthesia to the boy, cut him along his living brilliant scalpel. At the age of six, he saw a neighbor’s young man drowning in his eyes. It happened in a roadside ditch. Then, in the writer’s memory, moments surfaced when the mother tried to exhaust the pension after the death of her father, but everything turned out to be unsuccessful.
Since then, Mikhail has become panicky to be afraid of poverty. Another picture did not give him rest for many years. During the war, when he received gas poisoning, Zoshchenko constantly imagined his dead colleagues and birds, falling from the trees dead. After analyzing all these factors, the writer finally found a clue to his nightmares, put in order the psyche and practically overcame the disease.
He began to recover, a dream and appetite returned. Mikhail again got down with his wife, he wanted to write. He decided to write an autobiography under the name “Before the Sun”, but a war prevented him. The war in the army Zoshchenko was not taken by age and health problems. The war found him in Leningrad, the writer joined a detachment of fire defense.
In m, he was evacuated to Alma-Ata, worked at the Mosfilm studio. According to his scripts, “Soldiers' Happiness” and “Fallen Leaves” were shot. In his free minutes, he continued to work on an autobiography. In M in the magazine "Spark", the first chapters of this novel were printed, and this was a real disaster for him. The Bolshevik magazine instantly responded to this publication, which walked along Zoshchenko and his “psychological indemnity” at the most inopportune time.
The author of the article claimed that a Soviet person cannot suffer from such incomprehensible ailments. The work was banned from further publication, the author himself tried to morally crush. Moreover, Roman caused the disapproval of Stalin and Zhdanov, now they called Zoshchenko a coward and a scum. To somehow survive, he was engaged in translations. Zoshchenko held on his best, but depression again covered him in M.
By that time, Stalin was gone, with the help of Konstantin Simonov he was restored in the Writers' Union, but his health continued to deteriorate. The writer moved to the cottage in Sestroretsk. In the spring, a new poisoning occurred - nicotine. He stopped recognizing relatives, spoke poorly. The day before his departure to eternity, he was able to tell his wife that he had lived an absurd life.
Zoshchenko died on July 22. The monument to Mikhail Zoshchenko did not allow permission to bury the writer in Leningrad, so the cemetery of Sestroretsk was the place of his repose. His whole family is buried there.
